Shine 27. 4. 2021
Hi, I see a small lymph nodes at Neck for longer than 3 months. I have visited the doctor. He ordered ultrasound neck. Conclusion: Submandibular right nodes within benign lymphadenopathy with out pathology. This is the result. I have an Low risk exposure 6 months ago. I have taken HIV 1/2 ag/ab test several times ( 30 days, 60 days and 96 days from explosive) . All came up negative. Should this ultrasound sound result related to HIV infection? Please let me know.

I have already answered your question because you have contecated me directly.

One bigger lymph node has nothing common with HIV. HIV belongs among diseases where generalized lymphadenopathy may (but not must) appear. It means more nodes are affected,

But if this situation of isolated bigger node lasts longer than 3 moths I recommend to consult haematologist, because there is a risk of other diseases than HIV.
