HIV testing 9. 3. 2021
Uživatel: shine, Téma: Pre- a post-expoziční profylaxe (PrEP, PEP) proti HIV
Hi, I have unprotected oral sex with an unknown gay person. I have received oral sex and body to body massage. After 62 hrs of this explosive, I have been prescribed the PEP (3 drug combination). I have been tested negative for HIV1/2 ag-ab, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Syphilis at baseline, 30 days, 60 days, and 96 days after this explosive. All HIV tests are 4th generation antigen-antibody tests from the laboratory. Are my tests are conclusive? Do I need to take restest? Please let me know this information. Thank you very much.

Officially you should be tested after PEP use even six months after exposure. But I do not know anybody (neither literally) who was tested after PEP as negative after 3 months and positive after 6 months.
The second reason why you do not need to be re-tested again is incorrect indication for PEP use. PEP is NOT indicated after oral sex without ejaculation into your mouth (and of course neither after body massage). PEP is not treatment for anxiety disorders and should be prescribed after real risk of HIV transmission only.
