Testing

The risk of sexual transmission of HCV is limited to unprotected anal sex (especially if at least one of partners is HIV positive) and unprotected sex with woman druring menstruation. The most common way of transmission is intravenous drug use (but even sniffing may be risky).
The risk of HBV is present even during oral sex but most people especially young, are vaccinated against HBV. If you are not, I recommend you to be tested and if negative, be vaccinated.
Higher level of AST and ALT can reflect many causes, hepatitis is just one of them. The most common cause is alcohol and drug use. It is not possible without thorough examination to exclude any medicaments (including PEP) but the elevation of levels of hepatic enzymes during PEP is not frequent. I recommend you to consult a specialist - gastroneterologist.
